Early career journalists across Nigeria can apply for a virtual and in person Fellowship funded by the African Foundation for Young Media Professionals (AFYMP), to strengthen, empower and position next generation, early career journalists across Nigeria and Africa.

Participants can apply for one of the four categories in the program:

  • Media entrepreneurship, thought leadership and Niche building
  • Campus journalism: ethics, safety, fact checking and data driven journalism
  • Women in Journalism, New talents Development
  • Disability and inclusion, Increasing the voices of the marginalized in the media

The six-month program begins with 2 days of fully funded intensive in-person workshops that will be held in Lagos, Ibadan, Owerri, and Port Harcourt.
