New- and mid-career journalists of color based in the United States can enroll in Poynter‘s free writing workshop “Power of Diverse Voices”.

Applications are open to journalists from all backgrounds and experience levels who are ready to share their perspectives and claim their space as opinion writers and thought leaders.

The seminar will take place Tuesday, Nov. 10, through Friday, Nov. 13, at Poynter’s campus in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Over the 4-day workshop, selected dapplicants will develop the skills and confidence necessary to identify, refine and share their unique voice in persuasive writing, through dynamic instruction and dedicated small-group coaching.
