Piazza Grande Religion Journalism Award. Final call to submit your works and be awarded €2000.
MAY 31, 2023, IS THE NEW DEADLINE for the second edition of the Piazza Grande Religion Journalism Award, which will award three journalists with prizes of € 2,000, € 500 and € 250 and a certificate, all funded by the IARJ.
Journalists based in Europe and the countries surrounding the Mediterranean basin are invited to submit stories published in newspapers, magazines or news websites that publish regularly in the designated area.
With this update entries must be submitted as late as May 31, 2023 – 11:00 am GMT.
The winner will be announced in June.
Read more about the second edition of the award, which was launched in 2019 by the International association of Religion Journalists (IARJ) and the Fondazione per le Scienze Religiose Giovanni XXIII (FSCIRE) to encourage the best practice in journalism and honour the work of journalists covering religion and spirituality.
