Early-career journalists with two-to five-years’ professional journalism experience are eligible for the Sir Harry Evans Global Fellowship in Investigative Journalism, by Reuters and Durham University.

The fellowship honors celebrated British-born journalist, editor and author Sir Harry Evans, one of the pioneers of modern investigative journalism.

Applications from members of under-represented groups in journalism are encouraged.

The fellow will be mentored by top Reuters editors while having access to Durham’s academics and research resources and will be given the opportunity to develop rigorous, fact-based research and reporting skills. During the nine-month fellowship, the journalist will pursue the project from inside a Reuters newsroom  in London, New York, Sydney or Toronto.

The Fellowship has a monthly salary of c.£4,444, along with a living stipend and payment for travel and related expenses.
