The Religion Communicators Council welcomes individuals, groups, and organizations working in the secular (non-religious) media to participate in the 2025 Wilbur Awards.

The Wilburs honors excellence in communicating religious issues in several categories, including Audio (podcast, radio), Audio-Visual (film, television, and social media), Images (illustration and photography), and Written (books, magazines, and newspapers), first broadcast or published in 2024.

Entries must be focused on religious issues or themes, or on the activities of people of faith. Positive values and uplifting themes are encouraged, as are works that raise awareness of religious discrimination, persecution, hate crimes and the like.

Entries will be accepted in English and non-English (with English translations provided).

The award will be presented Friday, April 5, 2024, in Louisville during the RCC’s annual convention.

Juries of media professionals evaluate submissions on content, creativity, impact and excellence in communicating religious values.

The fee for each entry is $150.
